Tigers Athletics Cheer Makeup Tutorial

This tutorial includes both cheer makeup looks created for Tigers Athletics — the Novice Teams look featuring soft shimmer and a clean matte lip, and the All Star Teams look with an orange eyeshadow look, glitter, and a matte lip. Each look is easy to follow and designed to stand out on the mat.

Novice Teams Makeup Look

Step 1: Silver Shimmer Gel

Start by applying a tiny amount of Silver Shimmer Gel to the eyelids. Pick up the product with a Q-tip — a tiny amount goes a long way. Unload the shimmer gel onto the back of your hand, then use your fingertip to swirl it into the skin. Dab it onto the eyelid from the inner to outer corner. A foam applicator also works well for this step.

This product has a lotion-like texture, so press and wipe it gently into the skin. Avoid using too much so it fully dries.

This completes the Novice Teams Look for Tigers Athletics.

All Star Teams Makeup Look

Step 1: Prep

Apply a thin layer of primer across the eyelid. This step helps your eyeshadow stay in place and boosts color payoff.

Dust loose setting powder under the eyes to catch fallout and simplify cleanup.

Step 2: Eyeshadow Look

Matte Brown Crease

Use a dome-shaped brush to press matte brown eyeshadow into the crease. Blend it through the crease with a fluffy brush. Repeat on the other eye.

Light Shimmer Highlight

Use your fingertip to press light shimmer eyeshadow onto the inner lid and around the tear duct for a bright inner-eye highlight.

Matte Orange Lid Color

Use your fingertip to press matte orange eyeshadow across the lid from inner to outer corner.

Optional: Eyeliner or Lashes

If you are adding eyeliner or lashes, apply them now. A thin line of black eyeliner frames the eye nicely for this look.

Orange Glitter Eyeshadow

For best results, use a clear eyeshadow primer to help the glitter adhere. Swirl a small amount of primer onto the back of your hand. Pick up the orange glitter eyeshadow with your fingertip and pat it onto the primer on your hand. Then pat the glitter directly onto the matte orange eyeshadow across the lower lid. Repeat until the lid has an even layer of glitter.

Repeat on the other eye.

Step 3: Mascara

Add mascara to your lashes. Apply two coats for extra lift and volume.

Step 4: Lips

Clean your lips with a makeup wipe to remove all oils and product.

Shake your matte liquid lipstick. Line your lips and then fill them in with a thin coat. Let it dry completely for a few minutes.

Important: Avoid balm or gloss before or after applying the matte liquid lipstick. Keeping it matte helps the lip color stay transfer-protected throughout the routine.

Step 5: Mega Glitter

Use a Q-tip to squeeze out a tiny amount of Mega Glitter — about dime-sized or less. Apply the glitter to the side of the eyes near the temples. A small amount goes far, so start lightly and add more if needed. Allow about a minute for it to dry.
