Step 1: Prep the Eyes
Start by applying a thin layer of eyeshadow primer across the eyelid. This step is optional, but it helps the eyeshadow appear more vibrant and stay in place longer.
Next, dust a little loose setting powder under the eyes. This catches any fallout and makes cleanup quick and easy.
Step 2: Base Eyeshadow
Using a fluffy brush, dust a base color across the eyelid to create a smooth foundation for the rest of the look.
Step 3: Define the Crease
With a dome-shaped brush, apply the brown crease shade into the crease. Press the color in and sweep it back and forth toward the outer corner. Then switch to a fluffy brush to blend and soften.
Step 4: Add Lid Shimmer
Use your fingertip to press a light shimmer shade onto the inner and middle lid. You can also use a foam applicator for this step.
Step 5: Deepen the Outer Corner
Using a dome brush, apply a dark brown matte shade into the outer corner in a V shape.
Pro Tip: For a sharp edge, line your finger from the outer corner of your eye to the end of your eyebrow. This helps guide the shape of your smokey eye.
Blend with a fluffy brush to keep the look soft but defined.
Step 6: Highlight the Center
Add another touch of the shimmer shade to the middle of the lid for extra light reflection. Lightly sweep a fluffy brush across the lid to blend.
Step 7: Eyeliner & Mascara
Apply eyeliner along the top lash line.
Brush away any fallout powder, then add two coats of mascara to build volume and length.
Step 8: Blush
Apply a rosy shimmer blush to the apples of the cheeks and blend upward toward the cheekbones for a lifted, stage-ready glow.
Step 9: Long-Wear Lips
Clean lips with a makeup wipe to remove oils and balm.
Apply your matte liquid lipstick by lining first, then filling in with a thin coat. Let it dry completely. Blot lightly with a tissue if needed.
Important: To keep lips transfer-proof, avoid chapstick, gloss, or balm underneath or over the lipstick.
Step 10: Finish with Lashes
Complete the look with magnetic lashes:
- Apply two coats of magnetic liner over your eyeliner
- Place lashes onto the liner
- Press gently with fingers or a brush so magnets fully connect
