How to Create the Texas Dynasty Look

We worked with Cynthia to produce a step-by-step video tutorial showing exactly how to achieve the Texas Dynasty makeup look. This tutorial makes it easy for cheer moms, athletes, and coaches to nail the look every time.

Step-by-Step Guide:

1. Prime Your Lids: Apply eyeshadow primer to lock in your look. No primer? Use concealer or foundation as your base.
2. Set the Tone: Sweep the lightest shade over your lids and up to the brow bone with a fluffy brush.
3. Build a Smokey Crease: Blend the medium brown shade into your crease with soft, back-and-forth motions. Focus on the outer corner for drama.
4. Add a Bold Pop of Blue: Pack the blue shadow onto your outer corner in a V-shape using your fingertip for maximum pigment.
5. Blend for Depth: Use a dome-shaped brush to layer brown shadow over the blue in the outer corner for a seamless smokey effect.
6. Highlight with Silver Glitter: Press the silver glitter shadow into the inner corner of your lid, blending toward the center. Add a touch of blue in the middle for a smooth gradient.
7. Clean Up Glitter Fallout: Use a Q-tip to sweep away any stray glitter for a polished finish.
8. Line and Define: Line your top lid and lower lash line with black eyeliner, then smudge blue shadow under your eye for a cohesive look.
