Step 1: Prep
Begin by applying primer to your eyelids. This helps lock in the eyeshadow and keeps the color smooth throughout the day.
Add loose setting powder under your eyes. This step is optional, but it catches any fallout and makes cleanup easy. Dust a light amount of loose powder onto your eyelids as well for an even base.
Step 2: Eyeshadow Look
White Highlight
Start with the white eyeshadow. Use your fingertip or a foam applicator to apply it onto the inner corner of your eyelid and into the middle of the lid. You can also use a Q-tip to place the white shadow precisely by the tear duct. Blend lightly with a fluffy brush.
Matte Gray in the Crease
Use a dome-shaped brush to press the matte gray shadow into the crease. Blend it through the crease with a fluffy brush for a soft transition. Switch back to the dome brush and apply more gray in the outer corner in a V shape, then blend again.
Black Shadow for Depth
Pick up the black eyeshadow with the dome brush and press it into the outer corner in a V shape. Blend it with a fluffy brush so the colors meet smoothly.
Tip: For a sharp edge, line up your finger from the outer corner of your eye to the end of your eyebrow. This helps guide the shadow and keeps the smokey shape clean as you press the color in.
Shimmery Gray on the Lid
Use your fingertip to apply the shimmery gray eyeshadow across the inner lid and middle lid, blending it softly with the surrounding colors.
Optional: Lower Lash Line
If you want eyeliner under the eye, use the dome brush to apply a small amount of black eyeshadow along the lower lash line. Then layer the shimmery gray on top for a soft blended finish.
Step 3: Liquid Glitter
Apply liquid glitter directly to the center of the eyelid. Spread a thin amount from the lash line up toward the crease for a bright pop of sparkle. Keep your eyes closed for about a minute while it dries.
If you’re in a rush, you can use a blow dryer on the cool setting to speed up the drying process.
Step 4: Mascara & Cleanup
Apply mascara to your lashes. Two coats help lift and lengthen for a stronger stage look.
If you added setting powder under your eyes, sweep it away along with any eyeshadow fallout. If you still notice fallout, add a little more powder and sweep it away with a large fluffy brush.
Step 5: Lips
Use a makeup wipe to clean your lips and remove any oils, balm, or makeup.
Grab your lip stain pen and shake it well. Line your lips first, then fill them in. Let the lip stain dry completely for about one minute.
Important: Avoid chapstick, lip balm, or gloss under or over the lip stain. Leaving it matte helps keep the color transfer-protected during practices and performances.
Finished Look
That completes the cheer makeup look for the Southaven Wildcats! The smokey gray eyeshadow, white inner highlight, and center sparkle come together beautifully. This look pops on the mat and stays flattering from warm-ups through awards.
Sending good vibes for an amazing season!
