First Class Athletics Cheer Makeup Tutorial | Pink Shimmer & Glitter

Get ready for competition season with the First Class Athletics Team Makeup Look! In this step-by-step cheer makeup tutorial, we're creating a beautiful pink eyeshadow look with frosty shimmer, bright pink accents, glowing highlighter, Mega Glitter, and Forever Lip Stain.

Step 1: Prep Your Eyes

Start by applying a thin layer of eyeshadow primer across your eyelid. This helps your eyeshadow adhere and creates a smooth base for your makeup.

Next, dust a little loose setting powder underneath your eyes. This optional step helps catch any eyeshadow fallout and makes cleanup much easier when you're finished.

Step 2: Apply Matte Pink Eyeshadow to the Crease

Using a dome-shaped eyeshadow brush, pick up the matte pink eyeshadow and gently press it into the crease of your eye.

Switch to a fluffy eyeshadow brush and blend the pink through the crease and into the outer corner.

Keep blending until the color looks soft and even. This creates the base for the pink eyeshadow look.

Step 3: Add Frosty Pink Shimmer to the Eyelid

Next, use your fingertip to pick up the frosty pink shimmer eyeshadow.

Gently pat the shimmer onto the inner and middle sections of your eyelid. Repeat with a second layer to brighten the color and build the shimmer.

You can also use a foam eyeshadow applicator instead of your fingertip to apply the shimmer across the lid.

Makeup Tip: Pressing shimmer eyeshadow onto the eyelid rather than sweeping it back and forth can help build more noticeable color and sparkle.

Step 4: Add Bright Pink Shimmer to the Outer Corner

Now we're adding a bright pop of pink!

Using a dome-shaped eyeshadow brush, pick up the bright pink shimmer eyeshadow and gently press it onto the outer corner of your eye.

Switch to a fluffy blending brush and lightly blend the bright pink through the outer corner to soften the edges.

Blend just enough to create a smooth transition between the bright pink and frosty pink shimmer.

Step 5: Highlight the Inner Corner with Soft Shimmer

For a little extra brightness, we're adding soft shimmer eyeshadow to the inner corner of the eye.

Lightly spritz a flat eyeshadow brush with setting spray, then pick up the soft shimmer eyeshadow.

Gently apply the shimmer to the inner corner of your eye near the tear duct.

This adds a bright, sparkling accent that complements the pink eyeshadow.

Step 6: Touch Up the Frosty Pink Shimmer

Using your fingertip, pick up a little more frosty pink shimmer eyeshadow and gently pat it onto the center of your eyelid.

This brings back the brightness and shimmer after blending the other colors.

Use a fluffy eyeshadow brush to lightly sweep across the center of the eyelid and soften the transition between the shades.

Step 7: Clean Up and Apply Mascara

If you applied loose setting powder underneath your eyes, gently sweep it away along with any eyeshadow fallout.

Finish your eye makeup by applying mascara to your lashes. Add a couple of coats if you'd like a little extra definition.

Step 8: Apply Highlighter for a Glowy Finish

Now we're adding highlighter to create a soft, glowing effect.

Lightly spritz a clean powder puff with setting spray, then pick up a small amount of highlighter.

Gently press the highlighter onto your temples and down along your cheekbones.

Blend as needed for a smooth, glowing finish that complements the pink eyeshadow.

Step 9: Add Mega Glitter to the Temples

It's time for some extra sparkle!

Using a flat makeup brush, pick up the Mega Glitter and carefully apply it around your temples in a C shape.

Follow the curve around the outside of your eye and along the upper cheekbone area to create the glitter accent.

Makeup Tip: Apply the glitter a little at a time so you can control the shape and placement. Keep the product away from the eyes and use only as directed on its packaging.

Step 10: Apply Forever Lip Stain

Now it's time to finish the look with Forever Lip Stain!

Start by using a makeup wipe to clean your lips and remove any oils, lip balm, or leftover makeup.

Grab your Forever Lip Stain Marker and give it a good shake before applying.

Carefully outline your lips first, then fill them in with a thin, even layer of color.

Allow the lip stain to dry completely for a couple of minutes before touching your lips together.

Transfer-Proof Lip Tip: For the best transfer-resistant finish, avoid applying chapstick, lip balm, or lip gloss underneath or over the lip stain. Keep the color in its dry matte finish to help it stay in place.
