CT Vipers Team Makeup Tutorial

In this step-by-step tutorial, I’m showing you how to create the full CT Vipers Team Makeup Look. This look is built for competition—bold enough to stand out on the mat while staying locked in through warm-ups, routines, and awards.

Optional Prep Steps

To start, I’m using eyeshadow patches to create a sharp cat eye. These are optional, but they’re great for getting a clean, crisp edge. If you don’t have patches, you can also use tape or even the edge of a bandaid.

Next, apply a thin layer of eyeshadow primer across the eyelid to help lock in the eyeshadow.

Then lightly dust loose setting powder under the eyes. This helps catch fallout and makes cleanup quick and easy once the eyes are finished.

Eyeshadow Look

Start with the light pink shimmer and use your fingertip to press it into the inner eyelid and near the tear duct. You can also use a Q-tip to reach smaller areas. Use a fluffy brush to lightly sweep away any loose shadow.

Next, apply the matte pink eyeshadow using a dome-shaped brush. Lightly press it into the crease and sweep it toward the outer edge. This color should stay soft and subtle. Switch to a fluffy brush to blend and soften.

Repeat on the other eye.

Now apply the black eyeshadow with the dome-shaped brush, pressing it into the outer corner in a V shape. Switch to a fluffy brush and blend it lightly through the crease.

Pro Tip: For a sharp smokey edge, line your finger from the outer corner of your eye toward the end of your eyebrow while pressing in the shadow.

If you want extra drama, spray your dome brush with setting spray before picking up the black shadow and press it back into the outer corner for more intensity. Blend gently with a fluffy brush.

Using any leftover black shadow on the dome brush, softly press it into the crease so it layers over the pink. Blend lightly to keep the pink just peeking through.

Next, apply the hot pink shimmer to the center of the lid using your fingertip. Lightly blend toward the inner and outer lid with your fingertip or a foam applicator. If you want stronger color payoff, spray your fingertip with a little setting spray before picking up the shadow.

Eyeline & Final Eye Details

To line the eyes, spray an angled liner brush with setting spray and pick up black eyeshadow. Drag the brush along the lash line and extend it to the edge of the eyeshadow patch for a wing.

Carefully remove the eyeshadow patches by slowly peeling them back to reveal the clean cat eye.

Use any remaining product on the angled brush to softly line under the lower lash line. Blend with a Q-tip to soften.

If you like to tightline, you can add liner to the waterline using an eyeliner pencil.

Apply two coats of mascara for added volume. Then sweep away any remaining powder and fallout.

Lips

Start by cleaning the lips with a makeup wipe to remove any oils, balm, or makeup.

For Junior, Youth, and Tiny Teams: Use the Fuchsia Lip Stain Pen. Shake well, line the lips, then fill them in. Let it dry completely for a few minutes.

For Senior Teams: Use Matte Liquid Lipstick in Viper Kiss. Line the lips first, then fill them in and allow it to dry fully.

Transfer-Proof Tip: Do not apply chapstick, balm, or gloss underneath or over the lip color. Keep the finish fully matte.

Final Step

Finish the look by applying magnetic lashes for added definition. This step is optional, but it really frames the eyes for a dramatic competition-ready finish.

Final Look

And that’s the completed CT Vipers Team Makeup Look—bold, clean, and built to perform. Have an incredible season!
