Eye Prep
Start by applying a thin layer of eyeshadow primer across the eyelid. This helps lock in the eyeshadow and keeps everything looking smooth and defined.
Next, lightly dust loose setting powder under the eyes. This helps catch any fallout and makes cleanup quick and easy once the eye look is finished.
Eyeshadow Look
Begin with a nude eyeshadow as your base color. Use a fluffy brush to sweep it across the entire eyelid for a smooth, even foundation.
Next, apply the matte brown eyeshadow using a dome-shaped brush. Press it into the crease, then switch to a fluffy brush and blend softly through the crease to keep the color light and balanced.
Now, add the brown shimmer eyeshadow using the dome-shaped brush. Press the color into the outer corner of the eye in a V shape. Switch back to the fluffy brush to lightly blend the outer corner into the crease and toward the center of the lid.
Pro Tip: For a clean, sharp edge, line your finger from the outer corner of your eye toward the outer edge of your eyebrow while pressing in the shadow.
Next, use your fingertip to apply the golden shimmer eyeshadow to the inner and middle lid. Press it up to where it meets the brown shimmer in the outer corner. Use a fluffy brush to softly blend the transition between colors.
Eyeliner & Mascara
To create eyeliner using eyeshadow, spray an angled eyeliner brush with setting spray and pick up the black eyeshadow. Slowly drag the brush along the lash line to line the eye.
Apply two coats of mascara for added volume and definition.
If you added powder under your eyes earlier, sweep it away now along with any remaining fallout.
Lips
Start by cleaning the lips with a makeup wipe to remove any oils, balm, or leftover makeup.
Grab your lip stain marker and give it a good shake. Line your lips first, then fill them in using a thin, even coat. Let the color dry completely for a couple of minutes.
Transfer-Proof Tip: To keep the lip color from moving, avoid all chapstick, lip balm, or lip gloss underneath or on top. Leave the finish fully matte.
Final Look
And that’s the completed ACX Cheer Makeup Look—soft, clean, and built for competition days. We’re sending you good vibes for all your competitions this season!
